O nama

Vrijednosti

PATRON

HRH Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia
HRH Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia is a member of the Royal Family of Yugoslavia and a great-niece of HM Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and 100th in line to the throne of England.

HRH Princess Katarina was born in London, the daughter of HRH Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia (the younger brother of the last King of Yugoslavia, Peter II) and HRH Princess Margarita of Baden. Her father, Prince Tomislav, was the second son of King Alexander I of Yugoslavia who married Maria, the daughter of King Ferdinand I of Romania. Princess Katarina’s mother, Princess Margarita, was the daughter of Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark, the sister of HRH Prince Philip. Her maternal grandmother, Princess Alice of Battenberg, was the granddaughter of Princess Alice, Grand Duchess of Hesse, the second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Maria’s maternal grandfather was Prince Alfred, the second son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Therefore, Katarina is related to the British Royal Family from both her father and her mother’s side of the family.

HRH Princess Katarina’s patronage of Arcadia Academy is very much in keeping with her efforts to promote education around the world and reaches back to her family ties to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. We deeply appreciate her effort in helping Arcadia Academy reach its goals on both a Montenegrin and international level.
